it is it is!!

see we haven't opened our Xmas presents for each other so after arriving home after a LONG journey from Manc, we are putting the pressies under the tree (well- by the side) and are opening them in the morning...

anyway we have had very little net access over the last 5 days so here's what we have been doing...

23rd Dec
LONG LONG journey to Manchester where we stayed at Steve's having a few Stella as we were so shattered we didn't have any energy!

24th Dec
Got picked up by my lovely sis and spent a wonderful night in Kearsley with her and her 2 kids and fiance. Had chips and curry for breakfast and lamb curry for tea :D YUMMY!

Xmas Day
After being woken up by my nephew at 06:30 with his shout of "it's Xmas Day!" we all went downstairs to watch the kids unwrap shed loads of presents with huge smiles. Great start to the day indeed and just a shame cannot spend more time with them and my great sis :D

Sarah's dad comes to pick us up (he's a star) all the way from Oldham as that's where we spent the next night. Xmas day with Sarah's parents was great, playing on her bro's new Xbox 360 with him, and going to the local pub with Sarah's dad and Grandad for some bitter and cigars was brilliant!

After a HUGE turkey ( 17lb!) cooked by the wonderful Mrs. Sarah's mum we all chilled out and watched Pirates 2 on their new HUGE LCD TV- I mean HUGE TV! :D Day rounded off playing Gears of War on the Xbox 360 in co-op mode until 02:00!

Sarah was made up getting some great presents, including the Friends box set- which means I can get her to turn the TV off when it appears on it now! hee hee

Boxing Day
Another lift from Mr Sarah's Dad (star) to my dad's in Bolton where we had a lovely Xmas meal and a good old chin wag with my dad. Good to see him looking so well.
£35 later we are at Steve's, with Liz, where we consume as much alcohol as we can in the time we have and have a good time indeed!

Ended the night playing Balderdash with Sarah's folks which was a great laugh with us all making up sillier and siller explanations to words and things!

TODAY
Journey home (kick-started by another lift by Sarah's dad) punctuated by several crashes seen, long tail backs and uncomfy seats.

BUT

and it's a HUGE BUT

It's our Xmas Eve and Sarah's upstairs wrapping my presents as she never had time before we left, and we are both knackered waiting to sleep then wake up to Xmas day in the Taylor household!

PHEW....

We both hope everyone has had a WONDERFUL Xmas time and when we get the time we'll read everyone's exploits too!
