I read too fast
fact
On Friday I left for Nottingham with two books, two because I was three quarters through one and knew I would finish it and I loath not having anything to read on the train.
Finish the first book, which was a little disappointing as it was the prequel to a book I'd read so that I knew what was going to happen to the characters already! Still good though and then the second was a blinder, which I finished that night.
Get up in the morning, nothing to read and 3 hours to kill in Nottingham- search out a Waterstones and £6.99 later I'm one more book up and ready to rock and roll....
I was 8 pages from finishing it when the train pulled up in Canterbury!
I haven't got the room for so many books! I'm now gauging books by their thickness- they have to be thick enough to last a journey but not too thick they can't fit in my laptop bag...
I've got audiobooks on the iPhone but they're not the same are they?
Think I'll pack a book and the DS Lite from now on, then there's no problems if I finish the book...

HAPPY SUNDAY!!!

Wow, you //do// read fast! I thought I did too but it's not so much that ... when I start I don't want to stop ... at the expense of //anything// else I have to do. When I was S/E I actually phoned a client and said I was ill and couldn't attend cos I wanted to finish a book
Taking the DS Lite too is a good idea.
I think 'they' are developing ebooks so they're more widely available xxx
