ahhh - my work are deciding to drop my 10% uplift to my wage and we have to accept it- that's why I joined a union- now I was advised to regrade myself but after checking I found out that I cannot be graded above my post- I don't have the responsibilities to do it and have no way of getting extra ones to bump me up- I'm nearly at the top of my grade but not quite....

Now I'm not the union type but our darling employers at the University have decided that the 10% uplift we get for unsocial hours, will soon no longer be paid. That's 10% less of my wage. I will be worth 10% less.

That's Sky & Movies, Home Phone, Broadband, Council Tax, Mobile, Water Rates and Electric Bill gone in one foul swoop.

FUCK THAT- I'm digging in and I am NOT accepting it.

Of course I can survive without it BUT the point is I signed a contract with a 10% uplift as part of the deal- take it away and you breach the contract.

Luckily we have ACAS interested and my new best friend union Unite has two reps that work with me so we are on a decent standing.

you know how last week I was concerned about blogging and that I decided only to blog when things happened - well today has been eventful to say the least!

Firstly spot the great name from this beer we saw in the Supermarket

if you are very observant you'll notice it's above Bishop's Finger too!

Anyway we've been toying with the idea of moving to Faversham and we decided to have a look around the town centre to see what it was like. Now everyone knows about the knob of a neighbour that parks too close to our cars etc and you all know about the bloke who backed into the Lotus just up the road- so we try to park right outside the house, where we can see where she is.

SO

I pulled the Lotus out and Sarah pulled in the Polo to save our space, cue neighbour in some Noddy hat giving me the evils at his front door. You see he thought I was leaving and his car wasn't outside so he must have rushed down the stairs to get his prized spot- to see Sarah pulling right into it!

He wasn't impressed and gave me the "special finger" so I got out and asked him what his problem was - he shit himself at his front door and said he would "find ways to get back at us" - FOR DOING WHAT YOU COCK? I told him I parked there deliberately just to piss him off and that everyone in our neighbourhood thinks he's a nut job. Sarah came over and abused him a little too which was sporting of her.

He then said he was going to wait until I'm alone to talk to me "without witnesses." Knob! He's like a 55 year old soft as shite alcoholic so it made me laugh, anyway we burnt off in the Lotus with a shout to him of "AND your car's shit anyway!"

Later I realised he's a knob enough to harm the Polo so I rang the police and have put an official complaint against him so he's going to get a talking to for being a cock! Loving it! It's either that or I lamp him one, go down for 3 years and end up being the love toy of some sweaty tattooed bearded crim in the showers! (hence the phonecall)

Cue journey to Faversham where some knob in an old Audi tried to hump the Lotus from behind at 60mph until I slowed to 30 on the dual carriageway before burning him completely at the lights He then put himself, his 2 kids and his wife into danger by trying to catch up with me- after leaving him for dust in a HUGE way we pulled into the left lane for some saneness and about 5 minutes later he ragged past doing about 110mph! I presume he was pissed off with the regal wave I gave him when I burnt him up earlier :-)

Then we get to Faversham and look at a flat like the one we may be buying- it looks exactly like this

2 bedrooms, ensuite shower in one, parking etc.... we'll let you know

On the way back from Faversham the entire dual carriageway came to a halt as a stray dog was in the middle of the road!

we stopped off to geocache at a lovely location- we found it easily with the GPS

now we're home, the polo's alive and it's time for a chilli then my new guild are trying Naxx 10- I've done it before so it should be easy

Just seen an advert on Sky about Fairy Liquid lasting for 8 weeks - AND they are proud of it!

When I was single, and used to wash up, I had a bottle that lasted 8 MONTHS! And I washed up every day...

on the way home, as we approached the seafront, the sky got darker and darker and darker until an almighty storm broke loose just as we entered the town! Massive raindrops were battering the Polo and visibility was very bad.

So what do we really need now?

Some pissed up woman, looks like she lives in a field, is stood in the middle of the road effin and blindin at all the cars, especially right in front of ours and staggering so much I actually think she's going to fall over!

you know I came home- thought I blogged and then went straight into normal life but just this second it slowly crept into my soul that I never blogged...

thing is - it is becoming increasingly hard to blog every day as I can't at work and sometimes when I get in I'm just knackered and want to chill... do I really want to blog about a non interesting day maybe so that no-one will really read it?

please give me your opinions as sometimes it feels like a "thing-I-have-to-do" rather than a thing "I-want-to-do"

and tbh if no-one's reading this I'll fuck it off right away- online diary or not....

The title refers to our mammoth Easter binge on World of Warcraft.

I managed to leave my guild, join another then leave them etc etc. Nothin to do with the Stella as in the cold light of day I would leave again. I know you're all concerned whether I found a good one and yes I did thanks. ;-)

Yep today was the day the hard top came off the Lotus and we ragged drove calmly to Canterbury to look at some more houses but they were poo.

Funny thing was going to Tesco on the way home for some seeds I got out and looked like the Hoff with some big bouffant hair!!

not impressed...

now we've just had healthy houmous drizzled with garlic peri peri and served on wholemeal pitta- HOW HEALTHY ARE WE?

after one mammoth day at work (well not too long- 09:00 until 17:00 in Theatre and 17:30 to 21:15 in the cinema) - we arrive home and go to bed very soon.... tomorrow I'm in at 09:00 until 23:30 so doubt I'll be blogging.....
