Nearly Holiday

after realising I hadn't blogged for nearly a whole week, I thought I'd better sort it out.

Last week at work I was running round doing all the things that need to be done before you go off for two weeks leaving chaos behind!

We fly back out to Malta on Wednesday- until then we have to do various things:

Get the Lotus serviced and MOT'd (8:30 Monday morning arghhh)

Get our Euro's - bloody exchange rate is bad again but hey ho

Pack! (easy one- 6 pairs of shorts and 12 t shirts, 1 pair of crocs, underwear)

Not kill ourselves with hedonistic excess until then....

it's gorgeous sunshine outside and we've just got up so time for some meandering down the beach methinks

Phew! A busy time indeed - have a fantastic holiday, wish I could pack that light - must be a bloke thing!

  it's a sarah thing- last time i packed way too much until she persuaded me I didn't really need 28 T -shirts for 2 weeks

I have not been to Malta for a while and did not realise they use Euro there now.

  They got the Euro in Jan last year but it's still way cheaper than Spain or Greece- a pint in Malta costs 1 euro or 1 euro 50. In France 5 euros - same in Greece. We go where the beers nice and free flowing!

    Did not know that. Will have to check if I have any old notes and get change them up! Maybe next year we will go back to Malta.
    
    Off to Italy at the end of next week. Lake Como, I bet that will not be cheap but we have an apartment so I will be cooking.
