Well it's bonfire night and I've got no bonfires to go to or really want to as Sarah's working late again and I don't like going to places without her on my arm...
and it's warm inside ...
I finished work at 4pm, spent 1 hour making a Openoffice presentation for tomorrow when I'm part of the big university showcase of the "non-academic" departments... We will look the best!
then home and I was asked by Sarah to sort out our storage boxes as (quote unquote)
SARAH: "Every box we have is full of wires of some sort"
JAKE: " Cables, Darling. They are cables."
hee hee...
so I've took 4 boxes and made them into one with the help of two bin bags and 2 cans of Stella.
The one box has this in it: (approx)
10 CAT 5 cables with RJ45 connectors- various lengths and colours
3 SCART leads
4 Phone leads
8 Broadband Microfilters
3 pairs of phono cables including a full composite set
1 optical cable
1 HDMI cable
1 million iPod cables/ accessories/ docks/ chargers
1 Airport Express
1 SONY Remote Commander (don't ask)
20 metres of co-ax cable (aerial)
4 short bits of co ax with connectors
4 connectors for co ax
3 splitters of co ax
1 DMX to XLR converter
1 SCART splitter
1 Wind up radio
1 portable aerial
and some people say I hoard shit!

Today I actually spoke to our solicitor about our completion TOMORROW! She was very calm and not excited at all and by this time tomorrow we should be the proud owners of our new flat.
I won't believe it until the keys are in my hand.
EXCITING!
I hope everyone is having a good bonfire night and gets home safe and sound...
